SEATTLE โ The Washington GymDawgs had a season-best five different GymDawgs earn event titles on Senior Day, with the team putting up a 196.200 in the last home meet of the season. Washington earned a dual meet win over Southern Utah with the display that included four new individual career highs.
Madison Copiak, Geneva Thompson, Maya Washington, Kristyn Hoffa, and Monica Riley all earned individual event titles, with Washington taking home multiple event titles for the first time in her career. Riley earned her first career all-around title, setting a new career high with a 39.150.
"It was a special celebration of our seniors and I am so proud of the way our team competed and prepared for postseason," said head coach Elise Ray-Statz. "Our Sunday competition was even better than Friday. Even though the scores were inconsistent and unfair, the GymDawgs had two great competitions this weekend."
