GymDawgs Earn Dual Meet Win At Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. – The #12 Washington GymDawgs earned a road dual meet win Friday night, triumphing over the Stanford Cardinal 195.825-195.475. Evanni Roberson earned an event title on beam and on all-around, making it three consecutive weeks with an event title for the junior. Kristyn Hoffa also recorded a score of 9.875 on floor, giving her two meets in a row with a score of 9.875 or higher. Washington has won multiple event titles in three consecutive meets now, all against Pac-12 competition.

"We're taking steps in the right direction, it's just time to put it all together," said Elise Ray-Statz. "A lot of great things happened at the meet but there is still a lot to fix. We're excited to be home again next weekend going against last year's national champion, UCLA. It'll be a fantastic meet."

		VAULT
Roberson had a season high on vault, recording a score of 9.800. Geneva Thompson had a score of 9.800 and has now reached 9.800 or higher on vault at every meet this year.

		BARS
Michaela Nelson made her season debut on bars. Roberson followed up her 9.900 on bars last week with a 9.825 this week.

		BEAM
Roberson's score of 9.850 gave her her second beam event title of the season. Brenna Brooks had her second straight meet with a score of 9.800 on beam. Madison Copiak also recorded a score of 9.800.

		FLOOR
Maya Washington recorded a score of 9.850 and has had a score of 9.800 or higher on floor every meet this year. Roberson had a score of 9.825, her fourth score of 9.800 or higher in this meet. Hoffa recorded a score of 9.875 for the second consecutive week.

		UP NEXT
