February 01, 2019 | Gymnastics
STANFORD, Calif. Β β The #12 Washington GymDawgs earned a road dual meet win Friday night, triumphing over the Stanford Cardinal 195.825-195.475. Evanni Roberson earned an event title on beam and on all-around, making it three consecutive weeks with an event title for the junior. Kristyn Hoffa also recorded a score of 9.875 on floor, giving her two meets in a row with a score of 9.875 or higher. Washington has won multiple event titles in three consecutive meets now, all against Pac-12 competition.
"We're taking steps in the right direction, it's just time to put it all together," said Elise Ray-Statz. "A lot of great things happened at the meet but there is still a lot to fix. We're excited to be home again next weekend going against last year's national champion, UCLA. It'll be a fantastic meet."
