
Foley, Davis Earn ITA Scholar-Athlete Honors

SEATTLE - Junior Piers Foley and freshman Jack Davis were recognized for their stellar work in the classroom this week as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association gave out its Scholar-Athlete honors. Foley and Davis both posted GPAs above a 3.5 for the 2017-18 academic year to earn the honor.
Foley had a 3.63 grade point average over the past year as he pursues a degree in Latin. He was a Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team selection this year as well. Foley was 15-13 overall in singles play this year and 8-9 in dual matches playing between Nos. 4-6.
Davis turned in an impressive 3.72 GPA during his first year as a Dawg. The Vancouver, B.C. native had the most singles wins on the team with a 19-8 record and the third-most dual wins, going 13-5 at Nos. 4-6.
