Four Huskies Earn All-Regional Honors After Perfect Weekend

SEATTLE - After sweeping their way into Super Regionals, the #5 Washington Huskies had four players earn five All-Regional awards for the Seattle Regional, including the Most Outstanding Player award for Gabbie Plain. Plain was joined on the All-Regional team by Kirstyn Thomas, Sis Bates, and Julia DePonte.
Plain allowed only one run to score over 16.0 innings of work, earning the win for Washington in all three games. Plain struck out 18 while allowing only ten hits and four walks. She has allowed only one run to score over her last 30.2 innings of work, a streak that includes six straight wins.
The Huskies won all three of their games at the Seattle Regional, securing a spot in Super Regionals against Alabama that will take place in Seattle next weekend.
