Davis and Foley Win Opening Match at ITA National Fall Championships

SURPRISE, Ariz. --- The first round of doubles play at the ITA Fall National Championships completed Wednesday with the Husky duo of Jack Davis and Piers Foley advancing to the Round of 16.
Davis and Foley took down Lah and Bendeck from Baylor in two sets, 6-2, 7-6 in the opening round. With the victory, Davis and Foley advanced their fall doubles record to 8-2.They will face Bolla and Ruehl from Arizona State on Thursday in the Round of 16.
Enzo Sommer and Kawika Lam fell in the opening round to Caratina and Zahar from Georgia Gwinnett College 6-7, 6-1, 5-10. Sommer and Lam will take on De La Bassetiere and Nemeth from Penn State in the consolation bracket on Thursday.
