Alvarez And Turegano Fall In Doubles Quarterfinal At Jack Kramer Invitational

ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, Calif. --- The Washington men's tennis team completed the second day of play at the Jack Kramer Collegiate Invitational on Friday.
The doubles team of Alexis Alvarez and Ernesto Turegano won their first match of the morning defeating Saiga/Vukmanovic from UCSB 8-6 in the Round of 16. Alvarez and Turegano would go on to fall in the quarterfinal match 3-8, to Smith/Hance from UCLA.
In singles consolation play, Turegano lost to Vukmanovic 2-6, 6-4, 8-10. Freshman Ewen Lumsden made quick work of Samuels from SMU beating him 6-0, 6-1.Β
