Sirmon, Yankoff Enroll For Winter Quarter

The Washington football team welcomed two of its recent signees to campus as quarterbacks Jacob Sirmon and Colson Yankoff have both enrolled for the winter academic quarter, which began on Jan. 3.
 
Both Sirmon and Yankoff signed on Dec. 20, on the first day of the new early signing period. They both graduated from high school early, will both be true freshmen for the 2018 season and will participate in spring football this March and April.
 
Sirmon, from Bothell (Wash.) High, participated in the Under Armour All-American Game last week in Orlando, Fla. The MVP of the 4A KingCo Conference, he completed 132-of-227 passes for 2,061 yards and 18 TDs, with just five interceptions last fall at Bothell.
 
Yankoff, from Hayden, Idaho (Coeur d'Alene High), was the 5A Inland Empire Offensive MVP last fall. He passed for 2,396 yards and 21 scores, while rushing for 1,207 more and 12 TDs, last fall. He was invited to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
