Sommer Leads Huskies In Second Day Of Jack Kramer

ROLLING HILLS ESTATE, Calif. – Enzo Sommer led Washington men's tennis during the second day of competition at the Jack Kramer Club Invitational on Friday, advancing to the quarterfinals in singles and the semifinals in doubles.
Sommer won his singles match against UCLA's Ben Goldberg in three sets. He took the first set, 7-6, before losing the second, 4-6. He earned the match win by winning the third set, 6-3. Sommer will play in the semifinals on Saturday.
Karlo Boljat and Amit Batta also played in the singles round of 16, but they both lost their matches in two sets.
In doubles, two Husky pairs played in the quarterfinals. Sommer and Kawika Lam took down LMU's Boyce and Borchenko, 8-5, to move on to Saturday's semifinals. Boljat and Jack Davis lost their doubles match, 8-0.
