UW Travels To San Diego To Begin Stretch Run
October 25, 2017 | Men's Soccer
Washington closes out the regular season with three matches on the road, beginning with a trip to San Diego State on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The Huskies got back in the win column with a convincing 3-0 win over No. 17 California closing out the home portion of its schedule with a 9-3-0 record at Husky Soccer Stadium. Despite the solid win and a tough loss to No. 6 Stanford, the Huskies fell two spots to No. 23 in the latest NCAA/United Soccer Coaches poll. The victory snapped a four-match winless streak and moved Washington back into third place in the Pac-12 Conference standings, a point ahead of UCLA and just two points behind California for second place.
