
Mitch Stewart Earns All-Pac-12 Second Team Honors

SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 Conference announced their men's all-conference awards and teams today with Washington sophomore Mitch Stewart earning second team honors.
This is Stewart's second straight season earning a spot on the All-Pac-12 Second Team and adds to his award count for the year after earning All-Pac-12 Academic honorable mention and being named the ITA's Northwest Region Player to Watch.
The Federal Way, Wash. native spent every week of the season on the ITA singles national rankings and was ranked as high as No. 62 in the country. Grabbing 15 singles wins on court one, Stewart picked up key victories over George Goldhoff 6-3, 6-2 in a win over No. 12 Texas, and Matt Cowley 7-5, 6-3 in a win against No. 71 Utah at the Pac-12 Championships. A finalist at the 2015 USTA/ITA Northwest Regional Championships, Stewart was second on the team with 21 total singles victories.
