STANFORD, Calif. – University of Washington sophomore Wenyung Keh climbed 10 spots on the Stanford Intercollegiate leaderboard following Saturday's second round as she sits tied for eighth at 2-over 144. The Huskies as a team are tied for 16th at 42-over 610 (302-308) heading into Sunday's final round at the Stanford Golf Course.
Keh shot an even-par 71 Saturday bettering her first round score of 2-over 73 thanks to three birdies, two over her final nine holes. She sits 10 strokes behind first place, held by Bronte Law of UCLA at 7-under 134, and is just one stroke out of the top five as eight players are tied at 2-over.
"I'm really proud of Wenyung for coming out and rebounding after a tough go at our season-opening tournament," said head coach Mary Lou Mulflur. "She was very solid today and is not far out of contention so I'm excited to see how she performs over the final 18 holes on this tough course."
