Huskies Earn Some Hardware in San Diego
The Washington novice eight boat took first in a wire-to-wire finish in the Women's Collegiate Novice Grand Final on the second day of the San Diego Crew Classic on Mission Bay. The Huskies raced in a total of four grand finals on Sunday, earning two third-place finishes by the 2V8 and V4, and a fifith-place finish by the varsity eight.

For the second year in a row the junior class comes out on top at the 112th Class Day Regatta.

Husky Rowing Experience:2013 (Junior) - Took home silver rowing stoke for the varsity eight at the Pac-12 Championships...Stroked for the winning V8+ at the Windermere Cup Regatta...Rowed stroke for the V8+ shell that placed first and took home the Simpson Cup at the Cal Dual..Stroked for the winning Varsity Eight at the WSU Dual Regatta. Stroked for the winning junior class in the Seattle Times' Women's Eight at the Class Day Regatta... Rowed two seat for the V8 that took fifth in the Varsity Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic.
