Dawgs Underway At The Nordstrom Open

SEATTLE - Play is underway at the Nordstrom Open with the Huskies earning some solid results. Friday saw several Dawgs in action in doubles, including Viktor Farkas and Jeff Hawke advancing to the semifinals.
Farkas and Hawke began the day by defeating Emmett Egger and Ty Gentry who withdrew. The Husky duo then beat Mitch Stewart and John Stormans, 8-3.
The other winning doubles team with Nico Lunardi and Rishabh Raman who defeated Oscar Burney and Daniel Park, 9-7. Lunardi and Raman then fell in the Round of 16 to Conor Holton-Burke and Andrew La Cava, 8-5.
Finally in doubles, Nicholas Kamisar and Dragos Puscalau fell to Amam Manji and Spencer Watanable, 8-6.
In singles, only Puscalau played on Friday and he fell to Hunter Egger, 0-6, 6-2, 10-8. Farkas, Raman, Max Manthou, Hawke, Nicholas Kamisar, Egger and Lunardi all advanced on bye.
The Dawgs will be back in action on Saturday with the continuation of the Nordstrom Open.
