STANFORD, Calif. - Rain halted action of the Peg Barnard Invitational golf tournament on Saturday with all 10 teams just halfway through the first round.
The Husky women were +15 overall and in seventh on the leaderboard when officials decided that Stanford Golf Course was unplayable.
Sadena Parks and Anya Alvarez were each at +3 through nine holes when play was stopped to lead the Husky contingent.
Action will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday with the final round starting thereafter.
