OJAI, Calif. - Juniors Tobi Obenaus and Alex Rosinski will play for the invitational doubles title on Sunday at the Pac-10 Championships, as the two are the last Huskies standing at Libbey Park.
Obenaus and Rosinski, who have been UW's No. 3 doubles team all season, knocked out UCLA's Max Tabatruong and Kallim Stewart in the semis this afternoon. They will face Greg Hirshman and Walker Kehrer of Stanford on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. Obenaus and Rosinski are no 17-10 for the season.
Washington won the Pac-10 invitational doubles title three years ago, when current senior Derek Drabble won alongside Andy Kuharszky.
In the main doubles draw, third-seeds Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Kyle McMorrow had their run ended in the semifinals by the top-seeds, Robert Farah and Steve Johnson of USC. The Trojan pair earned the win, 8-4.
Rosinski also served it up in the invitational singles semifinal against USC's J.T. Sundling. The two traded sets but Sundling came away with the first and the third for a 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 win.
