
Huskies Stay In Tulsa Comes To A Close

TULSA, Okla. - The week-long run for Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Kyle McMorrow at the ITA All-American Championships came to a close today as the two played their final doubles match in the consolation draw. Ranked 25th nationally in doubles, the two wound up 3-2 overall for the week, after qualifying for the main draw.
In the consolation doubles draw today, the Husky duo came up one break of service short against Mississippi State's George Coupland and Zach White. The Bulldog pair pulled out the 8-6 victory. Coupland is ranked 11th in doubles but with Artem Ilyushin.
It was a busy week overall for UW's top returning duo. Nedunchezhiyan qualified for the main draw in singles, posting a 3-2 record overall, and McMorrow went 2-1 with an upset of 78th-ranked Sebastian Carlsson of LSU.
A week from today, the full Husky squad will be in Palo Alto, Calif. for the annual ITA Northwest Regionals.
