Eastern Washington Outlasts Memphis At Husky Classic

SEATTLE - Chene Cooper scored 17 points off the bench to lead Eastern Washington to a 58-54 win over Memphis at the Husky Classic on Sunday afternoon at Bank of America Arena.
The 5-foot guard hit 4-8 shots from the floor and 8-of-11 from the line to propel the Eagles (4-2), who split their two games in the tournament.
Memphis (3-2) was led by Brittany Carter, who scored 18 points. The Tigers guard was the class of the tournament so far, having netted 67 points in two games. She scored a Husky Classic record 49 points in the opener against Sacramento State.
Tatjana Sparavalo added 11 points for Eastern.
