
Laffling Reaches 1,000 Career Kills

STOCKTON, Calif. - Washington senior Kristina Laffling recorded the 1,000th kill of her career, but the Husky volleyball still lost to No. 1 Pacific, 3-0, Friday night at the Spanos Center. Game scores were 15-4, 15-8, 15-5.
Laffling, a swing hitter from Richmond, B.C., had a match-high 16 kills on the night, giving her exactly 1,000 for her career. She is only the seventh Husky ever to record 1,000 kills.
The Huskies fell to 2-4 with the loss as they were out-hit by the Tigers, .395 to .043. Pacific remained unbeaten at 6-0 on the year.
Washington continues play in the Pacific Nike Invitational Friday and Saturday.
