- Volunteer Assistant Coach
Dylan Hamilton served as the volunteer assistant coach for the Huskies in 2015 after spending the previous three seasons as a student manager for the program.
Originally from Ulupalakua, Maui in Hawaii, Hamilton began coaching club and high school volleyball while still in high school himself. He has coached at the Aloha Volleyball Club on Maui since 2010 and coached for the Sudden Impact Volleyball Club in Bellevue, Wash. in 2014-15.
Hamilton also served as an assistant coach for the Husky beach volleyball team during the 2015-16 seasons.
βDylan has earned this opportunity and he is fully prepared to excel in his new role as volunteer assistant for our indoor and sand volleyball programs," said Husky Head Coach Keegan Cook. "Thereβs no question that his work ethic and professional development over the past three years has directly benefited our program. Simply put, Dylan makes us better and I am thrilled to have him with us this season.β
In high school, Hamilton was an outside hitter who led his high school to the Division II state title as a senior in 2010, becoming the first team from Maui to win a Hawaii state volleyball title. He has since played beach volleyball on the AVP, competing in the Manhattan Beach Open in 2014 and taking fourth in the CBVA Long Beach Open in 2015.
