 BIOGRAPHY

Amy Griffin finished her 24th season with Washington in 2019 as one of the most respected and successful coaches and goalkeeping specialists in the nation. A U.S. Youth Soccer Hall of Famer, Griffin was the NSCAA's Assistant Coach of the Year in 2014. 11 of her keepers have recorded career GAA marks under 1.50 and four have been at or below 1.00. Under Griffin's coaching, the Huskies have seen Hope Solo win two All-American awards and had seven All-Pac-12 honors for their goalies. In 2019, Griffin helped the Huskies earned Regional Coaching Staff of the Year.

A Federal Way, Washington native, Griffin enjoys hiking, boating, and the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. She is married to Jack Griffin and has two sons, Nicholas and Benjamin. Griffin spent five years with the U.S. National Team as a player, winning the World Cup in 1991. During her playing career at Central Florida, Griffin was named the Adidas Goalkeeper of the Year. She has earned five gold medals and a silver from the Olympic Sports Festival
