2015-16 (Track): One of the greatest seasons in the history of Washington track and field, as he was the NCAA runner-up at 1,500-meters and anchored the Husky distance medley relay to runner-up honors indoors, as well as advancing to the finals of the U.S. Olympic Trials at 1,500-meters … set UW school records in the 800-meters (indoors), 1,500-meters, mile, and on the DMR … named the USTFCCCA West Region Men’s Track Athlete of the Year ... in the NCAA Outdoor Championships final, was just outkicked down the homestretch by Akron’s Clayton Murphy in one of the fastest finals ever as he took second in 3:38.06 to add a final All-America First Team honor … at his first Olympic Trials, competing professionally for Brooks, won his semifinal heat, then finished 10th in the finals in 3:40.34 … rolled to his second straight Pac-12 title in the 1,500-meters, the first Husky ever to win multiple 1,500m titles, leading wire to wire at Husky Track to win in 3:39.14 ... after winning the 1,500m was back on the track shortly thereafter to finish fourth in the 800m final in 1:48.00 ... advanced to a third straight NCAA Outdoor final site in the 1,500m by winning his West Prelim quarterfinal in 3:43.14 ... broke the Husky 1,500-meter school record that stood since 2009 with a victory against a great field of mostly professionals, including four Olympians, at the Payton Jordan Invite, as he ran 3:37.74 to post the fastest time in the NCAA to that point ... was named Pac-12 Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for his Payton Jordan victory ... started his outdoor season with a wire-to-wire 1,500m win in a then-PR time of 3:41.56 at the Pepsi Team Invitational ... capped an historic indoor season at NCAAs, anchoring the Husky DMR to second-place with a 3:54 final split over 1,600-meters, and came back the next day to finish fourth in the 3,000-meters ... both finishes were best in school history in those events and earned All-America First Team honors ... made national headlines with a record-setting mile run at the MPSF Championships, as he won in a time of 3:53.89, breaking the Dempsey facility record, the MPSF meet record, and his own UW school record ... edged Stanford’s Sean McGorty by .06 seconds in the MPSF mile run, as the two posted the third and fourth fastest miles in NCAA indoor history ... his mile time made him the fastest American collegiate ever indoors and was the fastest time in the NCAA ... also ran a school record in the 800-meters, and ran on the school record DMR, as well as posting the No. 2 time in school history in the 3,000-meters ... ran the 800m record of 1:47.89 at the UW Invitational, taking second overall ... set his 3k PR at the Husky Classic, running 7:50.20 to qualify for NCAAs ... ran the 800-meter leg on the DMR that took second at the Alex Wilson Invite in 9:27.19, the second-best time in the NCAA in the regular season, and the eighth-fastest in NCAA history ... (Cross Country): Made huge improvements in his final cross country season, becoming one of the best in the Pac-12 and the NCAA as he earned All-America honors and led the Huskies to an eighth-place NCAA finish, the second-best finish in program history … capped off his great year with a 30^th-place finish at the NCAA meet, crossing in 30:19, to earn his first XC All-America honor, improving on his 2014 finish by 129 places … earned the best individual finish ever by a Husky man at the Pac-12 Championships, as he finished third overall in 23:15 to earn All-Pac-12 First Team honors … only time not leading the squad was at West Regionals, but his 14^th-place finish helped UW win the team title for the first time in program history … earned a fantastic seventh-place finish at the huge Wisconsin Invitational, finishing in 23:39 … led the way at the Washington Invitational, placing 16^th overall … opened the year with his first cross country win at the Sundodger Invitational in a time of 24:05.

2014-15 (Track): A stellar second season at UW, as he broke the school mile record indoors, won the Pac-12 title at 1,500-meters, and made NCAAs both indoors and out ... in his first NCAA Outdoor final in the 1,500-meters, he finished 13th but was just two seconds out of first in a tight pack ... earned All-America Second Team honors for the finish ... made the NCAA final after he was impeded by a competitor in the semifinal heat and was knocked down ... auto advanced through two 1,500m rounds at NCAA West Prelims, going 3:46.53 in the first round and 3:42.99 in the quarters to reach the NCAA final site ... won the Pac-12 1,500-meter title in dramatic fashion, coming from behind on the outside to lean for the win by a couple hundredths of a second in 3:46.42, becoming the first Husky to win the event since 1987 ... also doubled back to take seventh in the 800m at Pac-12s ... completed an impressive double in the Dual against Washington State, winning the 1,500-meters in 3:49.99, then returning to run a season-best 800m time of 1:48.52 and get a second win ... anchored the Husky DMR to a second-place finish at the Drake Relays, running the fastest anchor leg out of all teams in 4:00.39 ... took second in the second invite section at the Mt. SAC Relays, running 3:43.31 for 1,500-meters ... in his outdoor opener, won his 800-meters heat at the Stanford Invite in a time of 1:49.94 ... returned to the NCAA Indoor Championships in the mile for the second year in a row, but did not make the final, placing 14th overall in 4:01.84, earning Second Team All-America ... broke the Husky school record in the mile in a victory at the MPSF Championships, running 3:57.81, the first Husky under 3:58 ... also broke four-minutes at the UW Indoor Open, winning in a time of 3:58.69 ... posted an indoor PR in the 800-meters of 1:49.87 at the UW Invitational, sixth on the UW top-10 ... (Cross Country): A remarkably consistent season as he scored for the Huskies at all six races, helping UW to the NCAA Championships for the first time since 2009 … at his first NCAA meet, finished 159^th overall in Terre Haute, the fourth Husky finisher, as UW placed 20^th overall … earned USTFCCCA All-West Region honors with a 24^th-place finish at the NCAA West Regional meet, the second Dawg across the line, in 30:01 … helped UW to a fourth-place Pac-12 finish with a 25^th-place effort, the No. 5 Husky finisher … at the Wisconsin Invitational, placed 57^th in the huge field, the third UW scorer, in 24:22 … ran 23:46 at the Washington Invitational, placing 15^th overall and second on the team … was eighth at the season-opening Sundodger Invite, third on the squad.

2013-14 (Track): An outstanding first season on the track, breaking into the Husky top-10 lists in both the 800-meters and 1,500-meters and reaching the NCAA Championships indoors and outdoors ... advanced to the NCAA final site in the 1,500-meters outdoors, posting a new career-best time of 3:42.29 in the West Prelim quarterfinals in Fayetteville, Ark. ... that PR moves him to fourth on the Husky top-10 ... had a struggle in the NCAA semifinals in Eugene, finishing 11th in his heat and 21st overall in 3:49.51 to earn All-America honorable mention ... focused on the 800-meters at the Pac-12 meet, winnins his prelim in 1:50.55 and then taking sixth in the final in 1:51.56 ... set an 800m PR of 1:48.15 in a win at the UW-WSU Dual Meet, a time that ranks seventh in school history ... anchored two relay victories for the Huskies at the Drake Relays, bringing home the win in the 4x1600m relay with a 3:58 split and going 1:47 to hold off Arkansas in the 4x800m race ... opened the outdoor season with a fourth-place finish in the 1,500m at the Stanford Invite with a time of 3:43.38 ... capped his first indoor season with a 15th-place finish in the mile at the NCAA Indoor Championships, earning All-America Second Team honors ... became the fifth Husky to join the sub-four-minute mile club, running 3:59.04 at the Husky Classic ... anchored the distance medley relay to the No. 2 time in school history and an MPSF title, going the final leg on his own to finish in 9:31.82 ... that time would qualify the DMR for nationals, and the team placed eighth as Yorks competed just in the mile ... took third in the 800m at the New Mexico Classic at altitude, with a converted time of 1:50.78 ... ninth in the mile at MPSFs in 4:06.16 ... named the Men’s Newcomer of the Year at the team awards banquet ... (Cross Country): One of the top runners on the squad, earning a spot in the lineup by virtue of two great races to start the season, after initially planning to redshirt the season … he was the No. 4 Husky finisher at the Pac-12 Championships, finishing 38^th overall … again was the No. 4 runner at NCAA West Regionals, stepping up to the 10k for the first time and finishing 70^th … finished third on the team at the Wisconsin Invite in his first time in uniform, placing 91^st overall … ran unattached at the Bill Dellinger Invite, but would have been the No. 2 Husky as he finished 15^th in 24:36 … placed 18^th at the Sundodger Invitational to start the season, running unattached.

2012-13 (At Portland) (Track): Ran the 800-meters and 1,500-meters during the outdoor season … top 1,500-meter time was 3:49.10 set at the West Coast Invitational in May … also broke 3:50 at a tri-meet with Oregon State and Willamette, going 3:49.46 … also ran 3:51.85 for 1,500-meters at the Mt. SAC Relays … season-best 800m run of 1:54.35 at the John Knight Twilight meet … (Cross Country): Ran at the West Coast Conference Championships, finishing 39^th overall, fourth among freshmen and ninth on the squad as Portland won the team title … first collegiate race was at the adidas Wisconsin Invitational, where he was sixth on the team and 148^th overall in the large field, running 24:29 for 8k.

High School and Personal: Born in Detroit, Michigan … father is Travis Yorks … has one younger sister, Brittany … had one of the best senior seasons in state history at Lakes, posting the fastest 1,600-meter time in the nation with his 4:04.00 set in a win at districts … that time was also a Washington state record … he went on to win the 1,600-meter 3A state title in 4:04.77, and also won the 800-meter state title in a PR of 1:50.56 that ranked 16^th nationally … finished second at the 2012 USA Junior Track Championships in the 1,500-meters, running 3:46.67 to earn a spot at the World Junior Championships … running for Team USA at World Juniors in Barcelona, Spain, he finished seventh in his 1,500m prelim in 3:49.21, 19^th overall out of 37 entries … ran at the 2012 Jim Ryun Dream Mile in New York, finishing eighth in 4:04.38 … also a terrific senior season on the cross country courses, as he placed fourth at the 2011 Nike Cross National Championships in Portland … was the Nike Cross Nationals Northwest Region runner-up … third at the 2011 Washington 3A cross country state meet in 15:05 for 5k … junior year on the track, was fifth at state in both the 1,600-meters and 3,200-meters, winning SPSL titles at both distances … took seventh at the cross country state meet as a junior in 2010, up from 48^th as a sophomore … also made the state finals at 1,600m and 3,200m as a sophomore.
