• Rowed in the Novice 8+ that won the Collegiate Third Varsity 8+ race on Opening Day
• Rowed in the winning Novice 8+ at Pac-12 Championships

• Rowed for Orcas Island Rowing Club

• Played basketball and soccer at Orcas Island High
• Named a first-team all-league selection in soccer

• Parents are Marty & Jennifer Zier
• Has three siblings: Jacqlynn, Jake and Jay, all of whom have rowed
• Brother, Jake '17, was a standout rower at UW who won three IRA national titles (two in the 2V8+ and one in the F8+)
• Enjoys hiking, running and reading
