Amos Bartelsmeyer

Amos Bartelsmeyer is in his second season as a volunteer assistant for the Huskies in 2019-20, working with the distance program while continuing to train under Washington Head Coach Andy Powell and compete professionally. Bartelsmeyer was a seven-time USTFCCCA All-American competing for Georgetown and a six-time Big East Conference champion.
Bartelsmeyer competes internationally for Germany. He finished sixth at the 2019 European Indoor Championships in the 3,000-meters.
In his final collegiate season at Georgetown in 2018, Bartelsmeyer finished ninth in the NCAA Outdoor Championships 1,500-meter final. He had an indoor mile PR that season of 3:57.53 and he won the Big East indoor title in the mile and the outdoor title in the 800-meters.
He also won Big East titles in the DMR, and three times in the 4x800m relay.
