Alberghini joins the Huskies in 2019 after serving as the volunteer assistant coach at Pittsburgh. Alberghini worked with multiple All-ACC players and the ACC Coach of the Year Holly Aprile at Pitt, helping the team win their division and advance to the ACC tournament championship game. His work with Pitt's hitters helped the team improve all major offensive categories, while his defensive work with catcher Georgiana Zeremenko helped Zeremenko earn All-ACC honors, improving her caught stealing percentage from 11% to 33%.
In addition to his work at UW, Alberghini has worked with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod Baseball League and served as the head student manager with Coastal Carolina. He is working toward his master's degree in intercollegiate athletic leadership here at Washington after earning a bachelor's degree in recreation and sport management from Coastal Carolina.
