Jimmy Bates

		BIOGRAPHY
Bates joins the Huskies for his first season in 2019 after graduating from UC Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business economics. Bates is pursuing his master's in intercollegiate athletic leadership at Washington. Previously, Bates has worked with the UC Irvine athletic department in marketing. He also worked closely with the baseball program and spent a year as the fitness operations manager at the Anteater Recreation Center. Bates played three years with UC Irvine's club baseball team, earning Offensive Player of the Year in 2016. He is the brother of Husky shortstop Sis Bates.
