Courtney Scarpato

		BIOGRAPHY
Scarpato enters her first season with the Huskies in 2019. A native of Springfield, Pennsylvania, she recently finished her collegiate career, playing four years with the Hofstra Pride. While there, Scarpato played both ways, making 43 pitching appearances while also starting 135 games in the field. She hit .312 in her career, including a career-best .327 mark her senior season, with a .398 on-base percentage. Scarpato was a two-time NFCA All-Northeast Region honoree during her playing career and finished her senior season as part of the CAA All-Conference Second Team. She earned her way onto the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for her excellence in the classroom, where she majored in sociology. She is currently working on her master's degree in Washington's Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership program.
