Became the first Washington player to earn Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year after anchoring Washington's defense ... appeared in 20 matches, playing in 1,694 minutes while helping Huskies record 12 shutouts, surrender just 14 goals and finish ninth in NCAA with a 0.66 goals against average ... selected first-team All-Pac-12 ... also had banner season offensively, scoring five goals and adding an assist ... tallied a pair of goals in Washington's 4-1 NCAA Second Round win against Marshall (12/1/19) ... scored first goal of the season against San Francisco (9/2/19) ... recorded goals in back-to-back matches, scoring on a PK against UCLA (9/22/19) and then recording the lone goal off a bending free kick in Washington's 1-0 victory over Portland (9/29/19).

Played and started 18 matches as a true freshman, amassing the most minutes of any Husky (1,678 minutes), playing at least 90 minutes in 17 of 18 matches ... earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention honors ... missed two games due to injury in October ... helped anchor Washington defense which allowed just 20 goals in 20 matches including posting five-straight shutouts to end the year ... finished the season with one goal and two assists ... picked up first collegiate point vs CSUN (9/23/18), assisting on Kyle Coffee's opening goal ... had second assist in UW's non-conference win over Loyola-Chicago (11/1/18) ... recorded first collegiate goal in final regular-season match, netting the Huskies' final goal in their upset win over Oregon State (11/9/18).

Clark on Bartlow: "Ethan is a fantastic central defender that is dominant on both sides of the ball. His range of passing is incredible and he's dominant in the air. Ethan's time with the US U17 national team saw him handle many of the top attacking players in the world, so he will be ready to play against any of the top attacking players he faces this fall."

Why Bartlow Chose Washington: "I chose UW because I love the coaches and I want to play professionally and I think that UW gives me the best chance to achieve my dreams. I also enjoyed hanging out with the players on my official visit and they made me feel at home at UW. It also helps that UW is so close to home and my family will be able to come watch me play."
