Brandon Prideaux finished he second year at Washington in 2011 after joining the program officially in January of 2010. In 2011, Brandon helped the Huskies to a second-place finish in the Pac-12 and an 11-4-2 record. Brandon helped guide the 2010 team to its highest win total (11) since 2006. Prior to joining the Husky staff, Prideaux played in his 12th and final season as a professional, his 11th in MLS and second with the Chicago Fire. The highlights of Prideaux's playing career were winning two MLS Cup Championships and Two Supporter's Shields (given to the team with the most points in a season). He played in over 240 games during his MLS career and logged more than 20,000 minutes. Prideaux played one season for the United Soccer League Seattle Sounders in 1998 before joining the Kansas City Wizards of MLS from 1999-2001. He helped lead the Wizards to the MLS Cup title and Supporters' Shield in 2000 before moving to D.C. United in a trade prior to the 2002 season. Prideaux earned his second MLS Cup title with DC United in 2004. Prideaux won his final championship in 2005 winning the Supporters Shield with DC United. He played the 2007 season for the Colorado Rapids before moving to Chicago in 2008. A native of nearby Renton, Wash., Prideaux was a four-year letter winner at UW from 1994-97. He served as a team captain his last two seasons and was a third-team Academic All-America selection. He was also a First-Team Mountain Pacific Sports Federation member in both his junior and senior seasons and was the anchor for the UW defense that led the nation in lowest goals against average. He currently has a USSF "B" license. He lives in Seattle with his wife, Christa, and their two children.
