Todd joined the University of Washington Olympic Strength & Conditioning staff in June 2017. He is responsible for Men’s Basketball, Women’s Indoor Volleyball, and Women’s Beach Volleyball. Tuetken came from the University of Texas, where he served as an Assistant Athletic Performance Coach from 2013-2017. There, he directly oversaw Men’s and Women’s Track and Field, Men’s Swimming, Men's Golf, and Women’s Golf. During his time at Texas, Todd was a part of 3 National titles and 18 Big 12 Conference titles.
Todd earned his Master’s Degree in Higher Education and Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Iowa State. During his undergrad he competed for the Cyclones Football and Track and Field programs from 2007-2009. During his time as a Graduate Assistant from 2011-2013, Todd, worked with numerous teams, including Men’s and Women’s Track and Field, Women’s Soccer, Women’s Gymnastics, Men’s and Women’s Golf, while assisting with Wrestling and Men’s Basketball.
Todd is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association, Track and Field Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, and is CPR/AED certified. He is joined in Seattle by his wife Kelsey.
