Adam Braun joined head coach Jedd Fisch’s staff as director of football equipment operations in March of 2024, having worked alongside Fisch at Arizona during the 2023 season.
In his role at UW, he oversees day-to-day operations in the football equipment room including supervising two full-time assistants and 15-plus student managers. He also serves as the program’s liaison with Adidas for football apparel and footwear needs. Braun is also responsible for equipment and road game trucking logistics moving into the B1G and will oversee new coach-to-player technology implementation and in-game use.
Prior to moving to Seattle, Braun spent one season in a similar role at Arizona, where the Wildcats finished the season 11-3. Before that, he spent four seasons at the University of Houston, and was promoted to assistant athletic director for equipment operations for the last two years.
For the 2017 and 2018 seasons, he was head football equipment manager at Army West Point, having spent the two years prior to that as a graduate assistant at Northwestern State in Louisiana.
Braun was a student manager for the football team at Florida State, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management, with minors in business and communications, in 2014. He also earned a master’s of science in health and human performance, with a concentration in sport administration, from Northwestern State, in 2016. Since 2017, he has been a certified athletic equipment manager.
