2016: Played in 12 of 14 games, starting those 12 at left guard ... started each of the Huskies' first seven games this season at left guard ... named the team's lineman of the week after the Portland State victory ... missed the Utah and Cal games due to injury ... returned to his starting role at left guard for the final four games of the season, through the Pac-12 championship game vs. Colorado ... won the 101 Club Academic Award and the John P. Angel Lineman of the Year awards at the postseason awards banquet.

2015: Named to the Academic All-Pac-12 first team for a second straight year ... played in and started 11 of the UW's 13 games ... started each of the Huskies' first two games at left guard ... missed the Utah State and California games ... returned to action as the starter at left guard in the win at USC and started the last nine there (including USC).

2014: Played in each of the Huskies' games in 2014, primarily on special teams ... also got playing time as a reserve tackle ... saw extensive action at Oregon ... earned first-team Academic All-Pac-12.

2013: Saw his first college action in the Boise State game ... also played extensively vs. Idaho State, California, Colorado and at Oregon State.

2012: Redshirted his true freshman season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Won 3A state championships in all four varsity seasons at Bellevue ... named to the Tacoma News-Tribune's all-state team prior to 2011 season ... as a senior, Wolverines posted a perfect 14-0 record and cruised to the state championship ... as a junior in 2010, helped lead Bellevue to a 13-1 overall record and a state title ... in 2009, helped Wolverines to a 12-2 record and the state championship ... as a freshman in 2008, Wolverines went 13-0 and cruised to the state title ... named a red-chip prospect by the Seattle Times ... rated the No. 13 prospect in the state of Washington by rivals.com ... the No. 60 offensive guard recruit in the nation and No. 8 prospect in Washington, according to scout.com ... finalist for the 2011 Seattle-King County National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete of the Year ... played football for coach Butch Goncharoff.
