Tyson Prince joins the Washington coaching staff as an offensive quality control coach for the 2022 season.
In 2021, Prince was a graduate assistant coach working with the offense at Boise State. In 2019, he was an offensive graduate assistant at Fresno State, under Jeff Tedford, and working alongside current UW offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, who was the Bulldogs' offensive coordinator that year.
Prince was a recruiting assistant at Michigan State in 2015 and then spent three seasons as a student assistant working with the Spartans’ wide receivers.
After earning his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan State in 2019, he was hired as a graduate assistant at Fresno State. In 2020, he held an offensive quality control position with the Detroit Lions, working with tight ends, before moving on to Boise State before the 2021 season.
Tyson's father, Robert Prince, is a longtime football coach in both college and NFL. He's current the Houston Texans' wide receivers coach, and also was a member Chris Petersen's staff at Boise State, as well as a former Seattle Seahawks assistant, among many other roles.
