2014-15 (Track): Redshirted the track season; did not compete ... (Cross Country): Played a crucial role in helping the Huskies reach the NCAA Championships, running in the top-seven at every race and scoring in the top-five three times … ran at her first NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, but had a tough final run, placing 217th overall, as UW finished 23rd … helped UW advance to nationals with one of her best races, as she finished 41st overall at West Regionals, fourth on the team, in 21:14 … was the No. 5 scorer for UW at the Pac-12 Championships, finishing 33rd, as the Huskies were fourth … also scored at the Washington Invitational as the No. 4 Husky finisher in 30th-place … was sixth on the team at the Wisconsin Invitational in 173rd overall … placed 23rd in her collegiate debut at the Sundodger Invitational.
High School and Personal: Born in Novosibirsk, Russia … parents are Larisa Grenbek and Alexander Kosykh … has one older brother, Nik, and two younger sisters, Paulina and Daria … an extremely fast start to her high school running career before a back injury sidelined her as a sophomore … as a freshman, she was the 4A runner-up at the Washington state cross country championships after winning districts and taking second at KingCo … missed state as a sophomore but returned to finish 42nd as a junior and 38th as a senior in 2013 … had a 3,200-meters PR on the track of 10:56.93 at the 2014 KingCo meet, finishing fifth, and also took fourth in the 1,600-meters … graduated with a 3.65 GPA.
