	UW Women's Basketball Team Joins Effort to Walk Over Heart Disease & Stroke On Saturday, September 20, 2003, the University of Washington Women's Basketball Team joined members of the Seattle community at the American Heart Association's 10th annual American Heart Walk.

	Washington Honor's Winners of Second Annual Elementary School Reading Program The University of Washington Athletics Department and Starbucks Coffee recognized winners of the second annual Partners in the Community Elementary School Reading Program during the Indiana Football game on September 6, 2003.
