Huskies Head To Heat At ASU

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Husky women's golf team continues their spring tournament schedule this weekend competing in the 17-team 2012 PING/ASU Invitational. The three-day, 54-hole tournament at the par 71, 6,121-yard Karsten Golf Course commences Friday and concludes on Sunday.
Washington, ranked No. 23 in the March 21 Golfstat.com rankings, will be in a field that features nine teams ranked in the top-25. The Huskies join No. 5 ranked and host Arizona State, plus No. 20 Arizona, No. 8 LSU, No. 49 New Mexico, No. 11 Oklahoma State, No. 50 Oregon State, No. 45 San Diego State, No. 42 Stanford, No. 29 Texas, No. 12 Texas A&M, No. 39 TCU, No. 26 UC Davis, No. 1 UCLA, No. 53 UNLV, No. 3 USC and No. 7 Vanderbilt.
The Huskies will have a lineup that is led by freshman SooBin Kim, ranked 34th among individuals by Golfstat.com. Sophomore Kelli Bowers, freshman Jennifer Yang, senior Sadena Parks and junior Brittany Tallman round out the UW lineup.
Each day will features 18 holes of action with tee times starting at 8:00 a.m. on holes one and 10.
