Landen Hatchett Nominated For Allstate AFCA Good Works Team

SEATTLE – Offensive lineman Landen Hatchett is one of 162 student-athletes nominated for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, Allstate and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) announced this morning.
The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team recognizes college football student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional commitment to community service, academics and athletics. Established in 1992 and presented by Allstate since 2008, the program honors players who use their platforms to strengthen communities and support causes important to them. The Big Ten leads all conference with 21 nominees.
The 2026 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team will be announced in September and include 22 student-athletes and one honorary head coach. One student-athlete will also be selected as team captain and receive the Allstate Wuerffel Trophy.
Hatchett, a senior from Ferndale, Wash., is a multiple-time Academic All-Big Ten Team and Dean's List honoree. This past spring break, he went on a study abroad trip to Italy and earned the 2026 Husky Leadership Award for football and was the DAWG Award winner.
Hatchett stated, "Community service is something that is very important to me. I'm a hometown guy, I grew up around this community, and it has done so much for me. I think it is important to invest back into the people and community that have given so much to me and this program."
Off the field, Hatchett has been an active member in the community. He has helped deliver food to a local food bank, coach youth camps back in Ferndale over the summer, visited Children's Hospital doing activities with children and participated in Husky Heroes which is a day where kids come to campus and participate in numerous activities and sports during the day. Additionally, Hatchett leads bible study for the team and assisted selling cookies with a local Girls Scouts troop.
On the field, Hatchett helped lead the offensive line in 2025 that had three players rush for over 500 yards for the first time in program history. Hatchett was also named the 2023 Travis Spring Most Outstanding Freshman and 2024 John P. Angel Offensive Lineman of the Year at the team's postseason banquets. Hatchett was a member of the 2023 team that finished runner in the CFP National Championship and won the Pac-12 Championship. Hatchett has appeared in 32 games throughout his career while making 15 starts.
