Vassek Named Technical Director

SEATTLE โ Washington has named Adriana Vassek to its Technical Director role, as Vassek returns to Leslie Gabriel's staff after serving as a data coordinator and student manager from 2022-25.

The Technical Director role encompasses all aspects of statistical analysis of the Husky squad in practice and in competition, combined with video coordination and opponent scouting.

Vassek is a UW grad, earning her B.S. in Statistics (Data Science) in June of 2025. She is very familiar with the Husky bench and practice gym, having helped the team with a variety of needs from August 2022 through June 2025, also serving as a Statistics and Data Science Intern. Vassek also served as President of the UW Women's Club Volleyball Executive Board, managing 50+ players across three teams.

She has gained further experience in the past year, working in a tech role at the 2025 Paravolley World Cup in Indiana, and she currently is serving in a similar capacity for the Team Canada Men's Sitting Volleyball program.
