SEATTLE – After winning her third conference championship and setting her third NCAA Outdoor Record, junior pole vaulter Hana Moll has been named the USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.
Moll (Olympia, Wash.) won the Big Ten Outdoor Championship on Friday, May 15, leading a huge event for the Husky women as they finished first, second (Amanda Moll), and fourth (Veronica Vacca) to score 23 points towards the team score. Washington finished fourth as a team with 88 points, the most conference points for the women's team since 1998.
Moll added an inch to her NCAA Outdoor Record as she cleared 15-10 with relative ease at the Nebraska Outdoor Track in Lincoln, Neb. Her first NCAA Record came in winning the 2025 NCAA Outdoor title, where she made 15-8 1/2, breaking sister Amanda's record. Hana then made 15-9 last month at the Mt. SAC Relays to raise the bar a second time. Her best clearance all-time remains her 16-0 make indoors this past January in the Dempsey.
This was Moll's fifth time making at least 15-9, or 4.80-meters, combining indoors and outdoors.
She will next turn her attention to defending her outdoor national title. The Huskies will travel to NCAA West Preliminaries in Fayetteville, Ark. from May 27-30 to try and move on to the NCAA Outdoor final site in Eugene, Ore. from June 10-13.
