SEATTLE – No. 20 Washington women's tennis completed its third consecutive sweep with a 4-0 victory over No. 52 Illinois on Sunday afternoon at the Nordstrom Tennis Center.

UW improves to 15-1 overall with a 6-1 record in Big Ten action. The Dawgs are 10-0 at home.

Prior to the match, Washington Athletics recognized trailblazer and Husky Hall of Famer Trish Bostrom with a Legacy ITA All-American banner that will hang with the other All-Americans in the Nordstrom Tennis Center.

In doubles action, Reece Carter and Jermine Sherif were the first court to finish with a 6-0 victory in the No. 3 spot. Alexia Jacobs and Marie Weissheim continued their winning ways with a 6-3 win in the No. 2 spot to improve to 11-0.

The Dawgs cruised to three quick wins in singles. Sherif had a clean sweep on the No. 4 court with a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Sherif improves to 11-1 on the season at the No. 4 court and 12-1 overall.

Alexia Jacob followed close behind with a straight-set victory on court No. 3, 6-1, 6-0.

No. 64 Carter had her second match clincher in a row with a 6-1, 6-0 victory on the second court. She remains undefeated on the season at 14-0.

The Huskies will be back in action in SoCal for a pair of Top 25 matchups against USC (April 3) and UCLA (April 5).
