IOWA CITY, Iowa – The No. 16 Washington softball team (30-6, 12-0 Big Ten) earned its fourth Big Ten series sweep on Sunday, defeating Iowa 10-6 in 10 innings at Hawkeye Softball Complex.

With 30 wins now on the season, the Huskies have won 20 straight and improve to 12-0 in conference play. Washington remains the only undefeated team in the Big Ten, taking its first extra inning victory of the season.

Sunday's series finale was a back-and-forth battle, with the Dawgs clinching their fourth B1G series and second conference road sweep.

Washington concludes the 10-day road trip with a 7-0 record with sweeps over Michigan and Iowa and a victory at Loyola Chicago.

The game was tied 6-6 at the end of the seventh and it took 10 innings for the Huskies to come away with the 10-6 win, scoring four in the top of the 10^th.

Ava Carroll delivered the clutch bomb in the top of the 10^th to break the tie, putting Washington up 7-6 in the top of the 10^th. UW then walked in a run after loading the bases to take a two-run lead.

Jadyn Glab, who finished the day with 3-for-6 with five RBI, slid a single up the middle to extend the lead to 10-6.

Morgan Reimer, who picked up her 19^th win of the season in the circle, induced two groundouts and a line out in the bottom of the 10^th frame to secure the sweep.

Next up for the Huskies is a four-game stretch in Palo Alto, Calif. starting Thursday, April 2. Washington will play two against Saint Mary's and two against Stanford before returning home to host a three-game series with Minnesota starting Friday, April 10.
