Huskies In Tie For 14th After Round One

STANFORD, Calif. – Washington men's golf is in a tie for 14th after the first round of The Goodwin at Stanford Golf Course. The Dawgs posted a score of 284 (+4).
Grady Millar was the lone Husky under par, firing a 69 (-1) to sit in a tie for 27th after 18 holes. It is tied for his second-lowest first round score of the season, matching his mark set at the Amer Ari.
Following a rough first nine shooting a 39, Jacob Goode bounced back with a 32 second nine to finish at 1-over and in a tie for 57th.
Emil Herstad and Jack Murphy both posted rounds of 72 (+2). Finn Koelle is right behind after a first round 73 (+3).
Washington will play alongside TCU, Northwestern and Colorado in Round 2 beginning at 8 a.m. PT off hole No. 1. Live scoring can be found on Clippd.
