
Beach Volleyball Releases 2026 Schedule

SEATTLE — Washington beach volleyball announced its 2026 schedule Friday, featuring two home tournaments at Alki Beach and marking the first season under Head Coach Steve McFadden and Assistant Coach Abbie Hughes.
The schedule includes nine teams that reached the 2025 NCAA tournament.
Washington opens the season Feb. 20-21 in Malibu, Calif., facing Vanguard, Pepperdine, and Long Beach State.
UW then travel to Baton Rouge, LA., for the Tiger Beach Challenge from Feb. 27-28. Washington will compete at LSU Beach Volleyball Stadium, opening tournament play against UAB and ULM on Feb. 27 before facing Southern Miss and LSU on Feb. 28.
From there, Washington heads to Los Angeles for the MPSF Midseason Rumble on March 6-7, where the Huskies will play UCLA, Texas, California, and LSU.
The Huskies continue their road stretch March 13-14 in Stanford, Calif., competing against North Florida, Stanford, Houston Christian and Long Beach State.
Washington then travels to Moraga, Calif., for the SMC Spring Fling on March 21-22, facing Saint Mary's, and Pacific.
UW competes in the Longhorn Showdown tournament on April 3-4 in Austin, TX., meeting Houston Christian, Texas, and Tulane.
The Huskies head to Boise, ID., for the Boise State Beach Bash on April 10-11, taking on South Florida, Grand Canyon, and Florida International.
Washington returns home April 17-18 to host the Alki Beach Invitational, welcoming Portland, Florida Atlantic, Boise State and Oregon for its first home competition of the season. The event will also conclude the regular season.
The inaugural MPSF championship is scheduled for April 22-24 in Huntington Beach, Calif., while the NCAA Championships will be held May 1-3 in Gulf Shores, Ala.
