
Mills Garners FWAA Freshman All-America Honors

SEATTLE – Washington football's John Mills was named to the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Freshman All-America Team, the organization announced today.
The accolade is Mills' fifth Freshman All-America recognition after being honored by The Athletic, On3, 247Sports and Pro Football Focus.
This season Mills started in 11 games at both left guard and right tackle. He was named an Big Ten honorable mention selection by the media and won UW's Newcomer of the Year Award at the team's postseason banquet. Mills helped the Huskies rush for an average of 165.5 yards per game and have three 500-yard rushers in the same season for the first time in program history.
