
Pearson, Sodan Earn Academic All-District

SEATTLE -- Junior Brett Pearson and sophomore Ivan Sodan were both recently honored as Academic All-District Team members by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). One of the highest collegiate honors combining academic and athletic distinction, the All-District Team requires a cumulative 3.50 grade point average and significant on-court contributions.
Pearson was a key part of the Husky doubles lineup, going 13-6 in dual play partnering in every match with Rohan Belday. He is majoring in Business Administration: Information Systems and owns a 3.50 GPA.
Sodan started nearly every dual match at the No. 5 singles spot, posting an 8-9 record overall and getting big wins in Husky victories over Oregon, Nebraska, and Wisconsin, and he had an impressive 2-0 road week at Michigan State and Michigan. Sodan is majoring in Busineses Administration: Finance, and has a 3.69 GPA.
