
Washington in 17th After Big Ten Championship Round One

BALTIMORE – Shooting a 10-over 290 as a team, the Washington men's golf team sits in 17th after the opening day of the Big Ten Championship at Baltimore Country Club.
Competing in his first conference championship, freshman Jake Foley paced the Huskies on Friday, shooting four birdies and 10 pars on the way to a one-over 71, tying for 29th.
Finn Koelle sits one spot back of Foley, carding a two-over round, good for a tie for 41st, while Jack Murphy's 73 put the freshman in a tie for 58th.
Drew Warford and Brock Maulding rounded out the UW lineup, posting matching four-over rounds to tie for 72nd.
Washington will resume the Big Ten Championship on Saturday, beginning at 7:40 a.m. PT.
