
Huskies Fall To No. 5 Utah In Senior Day Meet

SEATTLE — The Washington gymnastics team celebrated seniors and welcomed back GymDawg alumni against No. 5 Utah Saturday afternoon at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Ed. The Huskies fell to the Utes, 195.875-197.225.

On vault, Washington posted a 48.675, with Kira Bolden leading the way with a 9.800. Caitlin McWilliams, Kristin Lin and Mary McDonough each posted 9.725.
The Huskies improved their score on bars with the help of four sticks, earning a 48.800. McDonough led the team with a 9.825, followed by Taylor Russon with a 9.800.
Washington excelled on beam with a 49.150. Hallinan led with a 9.900, followed by Oppegard with a 9.850. Lin, Emily Innes and Russon each scored 9.800. Lin's score marked a career high, while Hallinan tied her career best.

The GymDawgs finished strong on floor with a 49.250. McDonough and Innes posted team-best 9.875s, while Lin set a career high with a 9.850. McWilliams and Oppegard contributed 9.825s, with Oppegard notching a career high.

Lin recorded her season-best all-around score, capping off the night for the GymDawgs.
