Moll Sisters Join Bowerman Watch List, Amanda Wins B10 Honor
March 06, 2025 | Track & Field
SEATTLE – Coming off the first- and second-highest pole vault performances in collegiate history, twins Amanda and Hana Moll were both added to the 10-woman Bowerman Award Watch List today. The Bowerman is the highest award in collegiate track & field, given out in December each year.
Also announced on Wednesday were the Big Ten Indoor Championship Athlete of the Meet awards, with Amanda Moll being named the Women's Field Athlete of the Championships.
Hana has been a Watch List member before, but this is the first appearance for Amanda, and the first time a pair of siblings have ever been on the Watch List together.
Amanda becomes the fifth Husky woman to appear on a Watch List.
Amanda broke the NCAA Record four times in February – with her first three coming at the Don Kirby Collegiate Elite in Albuquerque that included the first ever 16-foot clearance by a collegian at 4.88m (16-0). She went yet higher at the Big Ten Championships, where she needed a 4.91m (16-1¼) clearance to hold off Hana, who had control with a clean slate through 4.81m (15-9¼), the second of two-straight PRs. Together, they combine for all of the top-8 performances in collegiate history.
