Huskies Drop Candrea Classic Finale

TUCSON, Ariz. – No. 22 Washington fell in the final game of the Candrea Classic to No. 16 Arizona, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon at Hillenbrand Stadium.
UW moves to 2-3 on the season.
Rylee Rehbein (0-1) made her first start as a Husky, going 2.0 innings with three strikeouts. Morgan Reimer came on in relief going the final four frames with two strikeouts.
Arizona got on the board early with a pair of runs in the first. The Wildcats added a run in the third and one in the fifth for the 4-0 advantage.
Sophi Mazzola and Alycia Flores recorded hits for the Dawgs.
Up next, Washington heads to the Littlewood Classic hosted by Grand Canyon and Arizona State February 14-16. The Huskies will play five games over the weekend tournament against Utah Valley, GCU, Weber State, ASU and North Dakota. To view the entire schedule, click here.
