SEATTLE – The Washington women's tennis team (2-1) will head across state to face Gonzaga on Sunday, Feb. 9 for the first of five remaining non-conference matchups.
First serve is set for noon in the Stevens Center in Spokane, Wash.
LAST TIME OUT
Washington completed the 7-0 sweep of Portland in its home opener last week, led by Alexia Jacobs on court three who didn't give up a single game, defeating Portland's Isabella Marquart 6-0, 6-0.
SCOUTING REPORT
The Zags are 4-1 so far this season, picking up wins over Michigan State and Eastern Washington at home and New Mexico State and New Mexico on the road.
Gonzaga's sole loss came in the form of a 7-0 sweep at Boise State.
Gonzaga will face Air Force Saturday, Feb. 8 at noon before taking on the Huskies a day later.
Last season, the Dawgs swept Gonzaga in Seattle, one of seven sweeps for UW during the 2023-24 season.
