Aman Named Scholar Player Of The Year, Joined On Scholar All-America Teams By Bertos And Bowton

SEATTLE - Richie Aman has been named United Soccer Coaches National Scholar Player of the Year and is joined by Harrison Bertos and Jadon Bowton on the Scholar All-America teams. Aman becomes the third Husky to claim the national honor, joining Dylan Tevez (2021) and Bryn Ritchie (2001).

Aman and Bertos collected Scholar All-America First Team honors while Bowton was named to the second team. It's the second time in program history Washington has had at least three Scholar All-America selections.

Aman adds to his long list of accolades for the 2025 season. The MAC Hermann Trophy finalist has already garnered academic awards, being named a CSC First Team Academic All-American.

Bertos, also United Soccer Coaches All-American, had a career year in 2025, scoring the overtime winner in the national championship match to bring his goal tally to five.

Bowton, the College Cup Most Outstanding Defensive Player, caps off a remarkable career at Washington. The Husky stopper made five key saves in the national championship match to help secure the title for Washington.
